New video from Wolfmother – “Victorious”

Here’s the new video for Wolfmother‘s latest single “Victorious”, taken from their upcoming new album, also called Victorious, due out Feb 19th!

The video features a cheesy, old-school style sic-fi adventure, with laser guitars and magic swords! The band’s frontman Andrew Stockdale describes it as;

“The video is about a girl who’s held hostage by evil alien folk, but upon hearing the powers of Wolfmother’s smash hit rock ’n roll extravaganza, the heroine is set free from the dark forces of the universe. It is with this knowledge that all forces are combined through the rite of Wolfmother riffmania. And we had a blast shooting it.”

Tickets to their headline Olympia show for April 8th are on sale now!

Review: ROAM ‘Backbone’

roam-backbone

Roam released their debut album Backbone on the 22nd of January 2016 via Hopeless Records. With a career that started in British theatre, Alan Rickman has become a household name for both his comedic roles and powerful antagonists (often in the same character) as well as his iconic voice work.

Below we pay homage to this great figure by selecting some of our favourite of his film roles;

Die Hard (1988) – Hans Gruber
