SS banner

Next up on our unmissable acts series is Sea Sessions! We’ve picked the acts we’re most excited about catching at this years Sea Sessions Festival, which is taking place on the 24th-26th of June on Bundoran Beach. Get your tickets over on ticketmaster or from the Sea Sessions website.

Ham Sandwich

Ham Sandwich are a little bit of everything; indie rock, soul, swing…. They have something to suit everyone! They’re released a deluxe version of their album Stories From The Surface which will contain 4 previously unreleased tracks. It will be available for digital download only on the 27th of May. Check out their live performance of ‘Apollo’ live at Christ Church Cathedral for a taste of what you’re in for.

Pleasure Beach

Self-proclaimed dream pop band from Belfast, Pleasure Beach, will be bringing the beachy road-trip-worthy indie pop vibes to Sea Sessions this year. Make sure to check them out! They’re also hitting up Longitude and Indiependence this year.

Picture This

Picture This shot to fame incredibly quickly, and they seem to be more than up for the task. Their very first gig sold almost instantly, and it’s only a matter of time before they’ll be hitting up the stadiums, so catch them in this relaxed setting while you can. With beautiful vocals and catchy music, they’ll definitely make for one of the most memorable moments of the festival.

If you want something a little bit different, make sure you put Fangclub on your list. They recently released a new video for their track ‘Bullet Head’. Fiery and infectious, head to these guys if you want a good energetic head bang.

Bitch Falcon

Grunge masters Bitch Falcon are bringing the rock to this years Sea Sessions. We know from experience that they’re face meltingly amazing to see live, not to mention being an incredibly sound bunch. Check out their track ‘Wolfstooth’ shot live in Whelans.
